When it comes to cortisol, the receptors for this hormone are inside and around your belly, chin and upper back. This is why fat gets stored there when there is excess cortisol.

With estrogen, the receptors are on your hips and thighs.

When there is excess estrogen, there is fat storage in those places.

And until you address this fat loss from a hormonal point of view, you will be very frustrated.

Estrogen From The Environment

There are chemicals in the environment which act like estrogen inside the body. They come from the animals we eat and toxic chemicals in the environment.

Estrogen also suppresses your thyroid production. So it is fat storing in two ways.
